he slides a large cup of coffee across the table to the medic, very aware that his and the ares cabin's decision to fight the hermes cabin and the poseidon cabin was not a very good idea. everyone is dead, figuratively. this is his way of apologising. " sorry for breaking half the bones in camp, man. d'you need anything else? a snack? " he feels bad. do with the sorry boy what you will.

  If it weren’t for the smell of coffee, the look Will turned on Jason might’ve been harsh, accusatory. Which doesn’t say much about the look he does give him. Still, the peace offering does help and he takes the coffee ( with a suspicious sniff -- Jason is trustworthy of course, but exhaustion does nothing for nerves ) , giving a little, understanding nod. 

  “ In your defence, you didn’t personally break every bone in here.” His expression says understanding but his eyes say vengeance and death. “ I think I’m good, man....thanks. Unless you wanna find me a cookie too. ”

1. what would completely break your character?

let’s get REAL : accepting.

being overthrown --- that’s the big one.  that’s the kicker.   i’ve kinda touched on this before, but zeus really doesn’t know who he is without his throne.  being locked up without name or title or power, forced to be nothing is a nightmare for him -- the worst one.  he’d SNAP, he’d be vicious and cruel and he’d do away with anything else he held dear; pride, charisma, duty.  fuck it all.

a few other things of note: losing hestia -- that’s another big one.  she’s his rock, and this huge light point in his life, and without her, he’d be lost.   he loves his big sister more than anything.

ALSO... um, in pjo -- fighting typhoeus again?  like, i know we don’t get zeus’ POV so its hard to say how it affected him -- and the council room afterwards easily could have been a front, but that would ACTUALLY fuck him up so bad.  facing an old enemy is one thing -- fighting cronus would have been one thing (although still a difficult thing).  but typhoeus is a whole other ballpark, and the memories would have been unbearable.  i wanna know that info.
