Bandai Japan Announces Jurassic World Tamagotchi
To celebrate the upcoming release of the movie Jurassic World Dominion movie that is set to be release on June 10th, 2022 (in the United States), Bandai has collaborated with Universal Pictures to deliver a new Tamagotchi experience; the Jurassic World Tamagotchi. You can care for up to 26 dinosaurs on the new Jurassic World Tamagotchi! These include Tyrannosaurus Rex, Indominus Rex, Baryonyx, Carnotaurus, Pteranodon, and more!
You’ll start off raising one of two baby dinosaurs will then evolve into anyone of the 26 adult dinosaurs based on your care, including secret characters that have yet to be announced! Feed your dinosaur and pick up after their poop.
Even more fun is that the famous scenes from the movie have been recreated for the Jurassic World Tamagotchi! All 30 scenes are from both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. The scenes include not only the dinosaurs but the nostalgic character as well.
There are three mini games available to play on the Jurassic World Tamagotchi, including “Which One?” where you will guess the correct egg that contains the dinosaur. The second game “Escape!” You will escape from the dinosaur by hitting the buttons repetitively. “Catch Food” is the third game where you will move Mosasaurus to Catch the shark in its mouth!
The Jurassic World Tamagotchi will be available in two shells. The first is the “Dinosaur Amber Version” which features a darker yellow color with the Jurassic logo and dark red buttons. The second is “Dinosaur Egg Version” which is an off white color with specs of darker white, blue egg cracks and a dinosaur eye in the upper left-hand corner. Both will cost ¥2,530 and be available July 29th of 2022. No word on preorders yet, but we will keep you posted!
