fiddling around with some picrews to try to figure out a new dnd character!

she's gonna be a sea elf tempest cleric who spent her entire life in an oceanic city SO very (self)isolated that she didn't realize there were people on land until she set off on an adventure bc she wanted to be the first person to see what land looked like (and was sure there would be big whales with legs out there), and now she's realized the world has SO much more than she ever thought

and I'm definitely NOT tempted to call her home city y'ha-nthlei, I'm NOT (<- I definitely am)

i’m sure i’ve complained about this before but i would loooooooooooove it if i could google something dnd related without like all of the results being forum posts that all say “this is why this thing is trash and why you’re trash for playing it”

the height/weight table for centaurs is so wild bc centaurs are basically just horses, right? but the table says something like... 600lbs x (2d12) and unless i just do not know how to do the weight math that ends up with a range from like 1,200-14,400lbs and yet

#//juri speaks #juri's dnd #the only thing i can think is MAYBE multiply your rolled height mod by your rolled weight mod and then add it to the 600 #but that's definitely not what the formula in the book said

sometimes your dnd party just needs a session where everyone gets to chill and half the party has a fun friend-making meal and the other half has a day of shopping and a trip to the dog park and it all ends with a bout of friendly mayhem sparring
