I took my latest walk on hard mode.

#goose #geese #canada goose #canada geese #birds #video #these are the same two families from the previous video :)#(as a rule i do not get off the sidewalk for geese)#(but I did make an exception and step a tiny bit off for the very very small babies)#but these parents need to learn that this sidewalk is not a safe baby sleeping place - too many kids on scooters etc #anyway i got hissed at more today than i have in like the past 2 years #i support goose parents but they must share the sidewalks #also i love how the first parents were doing the “come children” head flick so vigorously but that one baby just wasn't paying attention

#i wasn't going to rant but im ranting now 🙃#people's reactions to this have been crazy???#like was it partially carlos's fault #yes it was #tbh one of the nost concerning things is that ppl think that you can see your blindspot using the mirrors....#also Oscar’s comments were super immature and entitled #of course the “backmarkers” are going to fight for every position #it's their race #and genuinely if anyone but charles oscar max said that they would get crucified #like why are those 3 always treated so differently #and honestly when i first saw the incident i thought we were all going to laugh and be happy that we got og carcar back #but instead ive seen ppl take this so out of proportion #and carlos doesn't owe oscar and apology either #i dont know why ppl want that so bad #he got a penalty #oscar dnfed from reliability issues #it was a wheel bang not a full on crash #i get being upset because i would be as well #but both oscar and most of his fans are going way too far #it's nit like oscar apologized to alex for dnfing him in canada #honestly oscar should do an apology to the whole midfield #the way he and most people were talking it was like they wanted anyone p11 and down to just stay in their position #until someone comes to lap them #“he was fighting Fernando for last place like it was the world championship” and “taken out by a backmarker”#were genuinely so unnecessary and they were the words of someone who never had to drive a midfield or backmarker car #and the start of 2023 doesnt count hes had a podium able car 95% of his career #and what does he have to show for it? finishing 3rd in a 2 horse race.#anti piastri #i dont think the race directors help with people's view of the midfield because they never show them actually racing #they just show them getting lapped and crashing.

the more i think about it the more im realizing troyboy is going to have to make a pretty crazy insane signing to reconvince me on the direction of this team

#its been a pretty disappointing phase 2. to like already take the wind out of my sails so early #like..... why are we signing some of these players so early? why are we using efos on players that really should not need them #i get that oneill is one of his team canada faves but like.#she really has not shown being worth over 100k+ and she only signed for 2 years #like atp i really dont think its a commitment to the team i think its a try out on both sides #and if it is why the fuck are we using a franchise tag on her????#like idk it just feels like to use our efo on a player who has never been able to match that initial years point production #and who people are rightfully pointing out is a third liner on a team that finished second to last this season in points???#we havent signed a single player with a positive +/- which is obviously a flawed stat #but the reality is everyone else (not vegas lol) has! in fact hamilton has NO negative players there. like idk #IDK. i have a lot of questions. even when it comes to our efo just going through players as i was trying to decide my thoughts on this #there are LOADS of other players that wouldve made a more convincing argument for efo.#the fact its only 2 years also just isnt a great look. this is one of your players and she didnt even sign for the full four?#there are really two possibilities for that. you dont have faith in her production for the full four #OR. despite the fact that this is apparently one of your favorite players that you have a history of coaching and working with #you couldnt convince her on the full four because she doesn't want to be her #and the real reason you had to use the efo is because she wouldnt have come otherwise. which. isnt a good look. sorry.#if we were going to force someone here there are so many other players we couldve gone for #or at least someone with more name brand recognition to get people excited #wtf am i supposed to tell ppl interested in this team to be excited about. help me convince people! help me interest people!#i mean i just feel like it plays into the larger vibe that the league is only here for money and is coming bc their better prospects #fell through at the last minute (bc this league is messy) and bc the community here (INCLUDING the sharks)#was willing to do all the hard work for them. and theyre not actually interested in this area as a legitimate market #idk. i just continue to find it hard to keep putting faith into the league to do right by the community here.#but god please i hope they prove me wrong... im not allowed to kms until theres news we're mistreating players.#chompy

IT HAPPENS AT LEAST ONCE A RUN!

im so sorry abt my yapping in the tags dwai you dont need to read it. i jsut. have a lot of thoughts about patriotism or wtv and how sometimes over the top connection to your country is smth people with a loss of personal identity use to cope.

#m speaks #i think his passion of being canadian actually has a lot of interesting facets to it #besides it being funny its like. a serious character trait for him #i think its one of the first things he can actually remember having a connection to #like personallt i obv hc him with the earlier birthday so alberta wasnt alberta let alone canada #and i hc him of the indigenousness. obv.#HOWEVER. i still think the explotion of him having a connection to beinf canadian fits with this #hes a guy with insane trauma and fucked memories . i think its very logical (esp in the case of him not being super connected to his native #-heritage) to conclude that hes latched onto the one aspect of identity he knows can be verified and that he can really remember #sorry i just. yeah.#i think theres a lot of trauma that comes with the ‘being canadian’ part of his identity as well but #1) its been kinda drilled into him that hes very canadian bc of yk. The Horrors #and 2) its kinda a reclamation of that one piece of his identity that was always viable for other people to verify. with physical proof #and from a hc perspective his connection to being indigenous isnt viable through physical proof (anymore) where as it was more so when he-#-was actively working with tribes and living in them . but he doesnt get that chance anymore #idk. Physical Proof is a big thing for logan so yeah. his identoty is often . imo. -#-heavily tied to things of that nature. documents proving he’s canadian. his claws. where he lives. his car or bike. his hair. his suit.-#-who he surrounds himself with. documents of his x-gene. his clothes. his hats. his belt buckles.#reminds me of the whole thing with proteus and how badly that fucked logan up specifically bc physical proof wasnt there or real anymore #<<< i do think he considers scent to be smth of physical proof as well #SORRY I WROTE A WHOLE ASS ESSAY DOWN HERE OVER THIS STUPID MEME #wolverine #<<< main tag bc why the fuck not.
