re: adoribull tag gothic I created a whole-ass side acct to (very politely and constructively!) ask people to put BG pairings in the “other tags” section and while I’ve gotten a good number of people agreeing/thanking me for letting them know that’s an option, the number of multi-comment rants I’ve gotten about how I’M the real homophobe here bc I would like the adoribull tag to be primarily adoribull is just. Ricockulous :|

anyways it’s an issue for uhhhhhh all of my otps (check out the Sera/Dagna or Cassandra/Varric tags sometime. Pentilyet escapes because the worst offenders don’t know it’s a Thing) but adoribull really gets the brunt of it and has as long as i’ve been in the fandom
basically i’m OVERJOYED every time there’s new stuff in the tag, but 90% of the time i’m scrolling past lavellans w/ their chosen side of eggs or noodles with my face like :/

this kind of message really, really irritates me for the following reasons:
you're on anon so I don't give 2 poops about your opinion because you're too cowardly to talk to me personally, which would probably make a like 95% difference in my opinion of this ask
that's your own opinion that you think they're disgusting
how is it different than hamburger, steak, fish sticks, etc. (and if you think those are "disturbing" too you should probably just leave)
this is real life and everything isn't about you
and by extension, I don't cater to opinionated "trigger warnings" -- AKA "I don't like this stop blogging it"
