Last minute polycule day at the beach today. Well, me, S, JD, L, plus S's live with partner, someone from Non-Mono who is not in the extended polycule (yes, there are a few), and a couple of J&L's mono friends, plus J&L's offspring.
I feel like a proper person who just goes to the beach with her friends. We collected seaglass, there was fire poi, I taught the toddler size child how to build stone sculptures and drum with sticks and rocks.
Honestly JD tho. Just there with his wife and his girlfriend and me (dating with no further title currently), us three women in tiny bikinis, running into the sea with him. What a jammy git :D all four of us fell over and got sliced to bits on hidden rocks, because none of us are the sort of people who go into the sea. But there's something about being in Non-Mono that's really brought out a lot of bravery and confidence in everyone, like we've found Our People and we can suddenly do all that stuff confident people do. I've never worn a bikini in a public place before, but suddenly I didn't want to put my clothes back on.
JD honestly he's just super cute. I love just watching him whatever he's doing. Plus the metamour squad gently gang up on him whenever possible, because there's a really feeling of siblinghood between us. L has told me to just come over and hang out with them any evening I want to, which I really appreciate because ugh JD I just want to be near him and she's excellent too. And because he's tall he put me on the stairs to kiss him goodbye before I left, except I put my head on his shoulder and I nearly fell asleep stood there.
