had a feeling they were going down this route 👀 I have said it before but no remake seems to get the pacing of og. Og is not perfect, nothing is but after watching all these remakes the pacing was great. The remakes seem to dig themselves into plot holes they can't get out off. S3 Druck did the same with ep8/9 seemed drawn out almost repetive for the sake of drama S4 druck did that weird thing were there was hurt but no tension in the series so it was cut short. S3 skamfr was the same with the whole Yann thing drama for the sake of drama, only lasted two clips but still messed with the storytelling. S4 skamfr i peaced out of in the end because it seemed to be the an endless feedback loop of drama S2 skames I personally thought the pacing and storytelling was really back and forth... bit confused. When you watch them live I think the pacing truly matters because every single minute of skam is telling you something so when even a minute long clip is redundant or regressive it can have a big impact on the storytelling.
