"I don't know if I should be glad everyone knows I'm getting laid or not."
@the-cerwyn
Gryff would be damned if this wasn't the person he was least expecting to see in a place like this one. Sure, a friendly face was a far more welcome presence than that of some Forrester, or one of Torrhen’s dogs, and still... Why? The only possible reason for Cley to be here was some business between house Cerwyn & the Watch — Whitehill refused to believe the lad would do anything, that'd land him in the same predicament the fourthborn himself was in. Thank the gods for that, right? He could wish such fate on those who have wronged him (he'd wished far worse things on them, and so often), but Cley... No, just no. Even Gryff was not yet wretched enough to want him to suffer purely due to his own never-ending spite against the rest of the world.
His gaze followed the curly-haired man across Castle Black's courtyard, initial surprise fading, the old dull, worn out expression taking it's place. Had he already noticed him? And how likely was Cerwyn heir to even recognize him, with his facial scars not quite skinned over yet & his newly acquired black cloak & armor? Gryff wondered idly, contemplating whether he should call out to the man or not. How did that even matter any more? There'd be surprise, & tiresome questions, & expressions of disbelief, & then — sympathy... And after all that, nothing would change. A meeting with someone he could call a friend would provide some temporary resemblance of a happy feeling, but then, it'd just be more emptiness, another memory, another burden. He was left here with nothing but memories, unable to do a bloody thing but recall the way things were, stripped of any power, any control over his fate. A reminder about the way things used to be, about what he had lost could prove to just be too much for the Whitehill.
The sword he’s been carelessly polishing was put down, as Gryff silently watched Cley, unable to make up his mind & act. He couldn't force himself to speak, neither — to turn around & leave, so he just watched, part of him expecting Cley to notice him & speak up first, while other part wished to remain unseen, not to engage in a conversation that'd do nothing, but reopen the wounds, to no bloody avail.
Dakota desperately wanted to get out of the situation that he was in. The old man was the owner of the dance company he was going to hopefully join and he could do nothing but casually laugh as he felt a hand slide over his thigh. They were meeting at a local diner for a casual interview before the audition. He had sent in several videos of himself dancing and apparently the man just had to meet him and ask him a few questions. His eyes darted around for a solace: something that could be used as an excuse to get out of the mans grips without offending him to the point where he would throw out his chance at an audition. “Um..” Dakota trailed off, his eyes roaming until they came across someone he knew, He gave them puppy dog eyes, pleading with them to notice him and come over for a distraction.

As they approached the nearest town Sephiroth glanced down at the small amphibian he held carefully in his hand. So far Cloud had managed to remain relatively patient all things considered, but he figured he must be growing eager to be returned back to normal. "So, do I get a reward for turning you back?"
@aonemanarmy
A slit pupil shifted in the tall man’s direction. If a frog could convey exasperation and impatience, looking out of the corner of his eye was the closest Cloud could get. ‘What… reward…?’ He wanted to be human again, and he figured Sephiroth did too. There shouldn’t have been a need for a reward.
