Season 3, Episode 16// The Mystery of Manon-Part 1
Testing My Patience
Scott tilted his chin up.Melissa lifted a flashlight and examined the collar around his neck.Her fingers never touched the device. Melissa shook her head and lowered her flashlight. “It looks exactly the same as the last one.”
“It’s stronger,"insisted Scott. "Or maybe it’s tighter.”
Melissa’s brow furrowed ever deeper.“I can still shine a light in gap. Maybe if you stopped testing it, they’d stop changing it?”
“Doubt it.I’m a very valuable guinea pig,"said Scott shrugging his jacket back on.
"Were-guinea pig?”
Scott laughed,“Yes?”
Melissa kissed his forehead and shooed him out of the Beacon Hills Memorial examining room.“See you on Sunday.”
Scott stepped out of the quiet room into the bustle of an under-funded, crowded, hospital still-grappling with the influx of new supernatural, medical knowledge they were expected to know. He waved good-bye at a CNA that worked with his mom,ignored a patient that shouted “animals should be put down,” and headed out.
He couldn’t hide in Beacon Hills. He didn’t bother to here.It was easier the farther out he was from it.
He could wear one of those motorcycle jackets with a higher collar and pretend he was a typical college student--maybe even a hipster just for kicks.Scott hopped on his motorcycle and donned his helmet.
He sped off. He was meeting someone at a cafe three towns over to discuss...something. It hadn't been clear, but it was about Le Chasse. And it was something that had to be done in person.
So this happened! So excited about this new chapter!
