outofwolfsbane. i don't usually comment further on things like this, but just in regard to that post about 'using fancy words' --
using any style of words doesn't make you more or less 'quality' than anyone else.
develop your own writing style, something that you are comfortable with and not something that's tailored to cater to anyone else's needs or preferences.
by all means -- draw inspiration from your fellow writers. allow yourself to grow through interaction and experimentation. learn new words. use them. play with them.
but do not, under any circumstances, ever judge someone based on their personal roleplay style. if you don't like it -- ? hey, that's what the unfollow button's for.
if someone happens to use a style of language that makes you feel inferior, that's not a platform for you to make them feel bad about it. just don't write with them. the onus is on you to establish your own sense of boundaries, of what you will or will not be comfortable with -- it's nobody else job to do that for you, and nor is it their responsibility to change their own style in order to make you more comfortable.
in a nutshell -- let's just cut the bullshit. everyone writes differently and brings something of their own to the table. you're not obligated to roleplay with everyone.
but don't judge them.
