Tristan had this little trip planned ever since Charlee had left for this job. She knew going somewhere new could be tough when you don't know anyone there, but Charlee was good at making friends. She was easy to like, at least Tristan thought so. It was safe to say she was a little biased. There were downsides however to making a surprise trip to see the girl who was her sister in every way except blood. Like the fact that Charlee was probably going to be very busy trying to set the new club up and may not have tons of time to spend with her, but she figured since she didn't seem to have her boss out there to breathe down her neck, Tristan could tag along and distract her.
She had one bag with her in the car, but she didn't bring it up with her in case the blonde wasn't home, carrying it down again would suck. Once Charlee had gotten an apartment, Tris made sure she had the address in case there was ever an emergency or if she wanted to send her anything in the mail. That made it easier to show up to this random, quiet town and actually keep the surprise up. Having to check for her residency in ever rental complex or hotel, though there only seemed to be one, would have made her trip just a tad annoying.
With a deep breath and a large smile, the red head knocked on the door, first once, then four times, then twice again in the silly little chime beat. She was counting the moments until the door opened and revealed the blonde, after fifteen she was going to knock again, but alas- "Surprise!"
