Inland Bay was a fantastic place to rest and drift about in these lands. She did love their inland sea, but the bay itself was a place of beauty. Yet today was not so wonderful- a strong storm sent waves cresting over the edges of the bay, and with them, a distraught mermaid. Her skin chilled heavily in the free air beyond her ocean. The sand of the bay gritted into her scales. She was covered by a sheen of baubles she collected, no scene of indecency.

But she was stranded. And the sea receded as the storm began to ease. Water flowed away as the mermaid struggled to haul herself towards the welcoming home.

“Anyone about? I could use, er, a bit of help here!” Too long away from the salty waters and she’d be... Well, she’d be in a bad spot.

He had only spoken up after hearing footsteps behind him, assuming it was one of his travel companions walking over to join him.

It was midday, and Edna was sitting by herself while Sorey and the others went shopping- some time to herself was nice occasionally (even if it meant less chances to tease Mikleo). It was during this time that she noticed another seraph walk her way, presumably just going about their own business as well.

Alisha had been working hard as Chloe’s assistant, but there were times she became wistful for her life prior to living as a runaway. She did not get to enjoy such leisurely travels any longer (for truly leisurely was what her post as an Terran Knight had been), and just the sight of the stars out the nearby window mad her itch to find an Empire hovercraft and sail through them up close once more.

Of course, that wasn’t at all possible. Alisha turned her attention to Chloe who had answered her question with one of her own. The former knight still felt a bit dreamy but tried to clear her head as she thought of possible answers as to what could be more beautiful than the stars.

“Please do tell,” she finally said, at a loss for what else to say. Surely Chloe wouldn’t start talking about her machines and gadgets?....
