Paperbacks at War. This 2021 publication, from editor Justin Marriott, contains around 170 reviews of war themed paperbacks and comic strips from the 1950’s onward.

It’s about 160 b&w pages (with illustrations) and is only available from Amazon but it’s another great read for dipping in and out of. Nice cover design as well.

Battling Britons. This 2021 publication contains 215 reviews of British war comic strips from the 1960's onward. At first glance it seems to focus on the 'picture library' titles but there are also quite a few of the continuing strips from weekly titles like Warlord and Battle.

It's about 160 b&w pages (with illustrations) and is only available from Amazon but it's a great book to dip in and out of if, like me, you're interested in the subject matter. The editor, Justin Marriott, has produced a lot of similar titles on paperbacks as well.

As of July 2023 there is also a Volume Two with five issues and a Summer Special (with colour) available.
