Blog of the Day: March 11, 2014
I just wanted to start off by saying, today was a beautiful day. It's just the type of weather I love. Sunny with a good breeze. It just makes a perfect day to just be out.
I started off my morning by waking up to chicken nuggets. Hella bad right?? Haha. It has been a while since I've had them too. My parents randomly came home with them after they went out for their morning walk. I told myself to just eat a couple, but I ended up finishing 20 pieces. Sooo bad.
Later on in the day, I just chilled in the garage with mi madre and assembled this shoe rack she bought from Ross. It was supposed to fit 50 pairs of shoes, but I guess that only works if the shoes aren't so wide. So usually if I'm not busy, mi madre would ask me to take out her white hair. It's such a pain to do, I swear. I'll be sitting there for like 30 minutes just taking out her white hair. Haha, but it's alright. Anything for mi madre.
After I was done, I ended up hanging out with Dizzy for a bit. We ended up going to target to find a particular wine. When we got to target, we couldn't find the wine, so Dizzy called Jovs, and asked her where did he buy the wine. What's so funny is that I was with Dizzy when we bought the wine, so I knew exactly where to find it. We got it at Walmart, but Dizzy didn't want to drive that far, so we ended up going to CVS Pharmacy nearby.
We found the wine Dizzy was looking for and bought SIX bottles of it! He was going to originally buy only two bottles, but there was a sale if you bought six or more. While waiting in line, other customers were having small talk to us about the wine we had. This one lady behind me told me about which flavor was her favorite, and that it's really good for the price. Dizzy paid only $22 for SIX BOTTLES OF WINE!!! Haha.
After CVS Pharmacy, Dizzy and I went to Starbucks and got our Venti Passion Tea Apple Juice w/ Raspberry Sweetener. It's always a favorite for me to get whenever I go to Starbucks. I usually get light ice in my drink, and when the barista made our drinks, I had all of the ice in my cup. AND my cup said "light ice" on it. Haha.
We took our Starbucks togo, and went straight to Mount Pleasant to watch the badminton team play. They played against Archbishop Mitty and won by 1 game. After the game was over, I stayed afterwards with Jovs, and we rallied for an hour. I didn't plan on playing because I was in jeans, but Paulo handed me his racquet.
If I'm not working or not in class, I'm gonna find some time to help out the badminton team. It's a really good workout and I don't mind burning some extra calories.
Damn, it's been a while since I've written these essays. I give props to whoever took the time to read my essays haha. Now it's time to read a few chapters in this stupid history book and call it a night. I hope you all had a great day.
