me: yes i’m inactive also me: (also sorry about how long this took LOL)
14. Do they make it a point to eat at lease one meal a day together with their partner, or do they do as they please?
Yeah, I think that he really values spending quality time with his partner and that he makes a point to eat one meal a day with them. Even if it isn’t convenient for some reason (he has to stay late at the office or his partner has to stay late at their work), he tries to find some way around it, whether that means his partner swinging by the prosecutors office for some takeout or him taking the time to go to your work and eat with you while you’re on break.
16. Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?
I think that anything physical, whether that be cuddling or hugging or just holding hands is completely exclusive to his partner. I don’t know if that necessarily counts as a bonding activity, but he isn’t a very touchy person to begin with and the only person who he wants to touch in any way is his partner.
29. How do they express their love to their partner?
Teasing and playful ribbing. I think that although he is a very direct person, he shows his love in the most convoluted way possible. He adores watching your face flush as he makes a joke about you and the way you fire back at him, smiling. I think that over time, it can get a bit tiring and if you ever expressed to him that you felt that it was getting a little mean-spirited or a little exasperating, he would panic for a moment before just embracing you (even if physical touch is not his forte at all) and he would just mumble compliments about you and apologize. From then, I think, he would try to give compliments and tease evenly, because he wouldn’t want you to ever feel that he loved you any less than completely.
Can I get a request for the Prosecutors? Prompt number 107 and female pronouns please.
Yup! This one was a bit tricky to format for the prompt, but I hope you enjoy the finished product, pal! ^^ Prompt 107 (“The way he watches you…like he’s ready to take a bullet for you.” - “Is that a bad thing?”) is from this list!As a note, the only one of these with a clearly gendered reader (cis fem!) is Manfred’s.Characters: Miles Edgeworth, Lana Skye, Franziska von Karma, Godot, Klavier Gavin, Sebastian Debeste, Simon Blackquill, Nahyuta Sahdmadhi, and (bonus!) Manfred von Karma.
You’d made plans earlier and they were simply coming over to spend some quality time with you after a hard day’s work. You’d mentioned that another friend was coming over before them but that they should’ve been gone by then. It doesn’t seem like that’s the case, as they can hear the two of you still talking inside.
The words are muffled, but they can still hear part of the conversation:
“…way they watch you…like they’re ready to take a bullet for you.”
“…Is that a bad thing?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well… that’s how I feel about them, too.”
Miles Edgeworth.
His finger freezes just shy of the doorbell as he hears those words, cheeks turning red. He didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but now he also doesn’t want to intrude on what appears to be a serious discussion with your friend. So, he stands there, frozen, as his brain kicks it into overthinking overdrive.
Was he that obvious? And did you truly feel the same way? But most importantly, what is he to do with this inadmissibly gathered information?
With a deep breath in, he steps back and goes to take a walk around the block to clear his mind, just hoping that your friend will leave by the time he returns to ring your doorbell properly. With no more answers than he started with.
Lana Skye.
Her hand recoils from the doorknob as if it’s red hot, taking a few steps back. Her chest rising and falling too quickly as she catches her thumb between her teeth, gnawing on it as she loses herself in thought.
Does Gant know about this? Her feelings toward you?
She thought she was being subtle. She thought that, maybe, she could at least enjoy your company. Just one nice thing…
But that was beyond foolish. This is becoming too serious—too dangerous—and she can’t do this to you. With a heavy heart, she turns on her heel and walks away.
Franziska von Karma.
Franziska starts backwards, right hand instinctively coming up to her left shoulder as the choice of words hits a bit too close to home. But it only means that they carry all the more weight.
Because she would for you. Many times over, in fact. And it’s a relief to hear that you feel the same. Not like you wouldn’t, of course. The two of you were perfect together, after all.
Clearing her throat to herself, she adjusts her bow and sleeves, straightening herself back out before ringing the doorbell. Although the smile on her face is a bit softer than usual.
Godot.
The grin is wiped off of his face when he hears the topic of conversation and he shamelessly listens in, the exchange going down like a quality cup of black coffee.
Your friend isn’t wrong. As much as he told himself he lived only for revenge and making up for his failure… there was a third reason, now. One that he’d gladly lay his life down for.
You.
If he was a better man, he would simply turn away and leave now that he knew you felt the same. After all, the path he walks is the road back to hell and yet…
Like how a man dying of thirst will rush to the nearest source of water, he raises his hand and knocks three times—signature grin back on his face.
Klavier Gavin.
He blinks at the door in surprise and he brings a hand up to nervously run through his hair. However, the cloud of guilt that passes over him isn’t enough to prevent a smile from breaking onto his face.
It’s strange how a few words can produce a complete turnabout. He used to have a hard time believing that you felt the same about him, his barbed words of the past would resurface and set his usual confidence aflame.
He needed to hear that, he realizes.
But before anything else can be said, he bangs the first few beats of Guilty Love on your door—letting you know he’s there before you say anything more. Once the two of you are alone, he’ll apologize.
Sebastian Debeste.
His eyes snap wide open when his brain connects the dots and his baton whips through the air, striking his face hard enough to draw blood. He winces and rubs the injury, tears welling up in his eyes as he sniffles.
Not from the pain, but from the fact that you actually feel the same.
He knows he isn’t truly deserving of you, not yet at least. But he’s working on it. You know that and have been with him every step of the way, regardless. What you don’t know is how much your support means to him, the true nature of his feelings toward you.
He shakes his head and wipes away the tears, his usual smile returning to his face before he knocks offbeat on your door.
Because you only deserve nothing but the best.
Simon Blackquill.
His heart stops dead in his chest, biting down on the quill of Taka’s feather balanced between his teeth. Your friend’s harsh tone isn’t lost on him, but it’s the soft resolution in your voice that he focuses on. Specifically, the revelation that comes with it:
You still love him.
Everything clicks into place then. He hadn’t dared to hope that you still cared for him in such a capacity. Not after how he pushed you away to keep you safe. All those years, he hadn’t been able to move on… and it seems you hadn’t either.
Without hesitation, he raises his hand and pounds on the door. He’s not wasting any more time.
Nahyuta Sahdmadhi.
His hand flies up to grab onto his prayer beads, pulling them taut as he curses himself for overhearing such a private conversation. He takes a sharp inhale, cat-like eyes sliding shut as he brings his hands into his meditative position and tunes the outside world out.
After all that’s happened, all that you’ve been through together… he knows that to be true. But the raw tenderness in your voice struck a chord, harmonizing with his own feelings.
Ones that he hadn’t yet acted on as he focused on rebuilding his country and himself.
He opens his eyes and, determined to confess on both matters (when the two of you are alone), he knocks lightly on the door—applying just enough force so that he knows you’ll hear it.
Bonus Villain: (Warning: He’s a perfection-obsessed antagonist and thus this isn’t trying to depict a healthy relationship and involves some big assumption making. But if any mention of having children makes you uncomfortable. Please stop reading here!)
Manfred von Karma.
He quirks a brow at the snippet of conversation he happens to overhear, but a predatory smirk breaking across his face.
Your friend is more perceptive than he credited them for; however, they misunderstood his intentions behind how he looks at you. Simply put, he’s decided that you are the ideal wife for a man of his position and station, a woman with which he could produce rightful heirs for the Von Karma legal dynasty.
Perfection.
He raps on the door with the back of his hand, other hand tucked behind his back as he puffs his chest out just a touch. All to look more impressive for you as he plans to make full use of this information.
Can I get a Simon Blackquill imagine from the prompt list? "Are you trying is seduce me?Also female pronouns please.
This is just where my mind went for this prompt (which is 51 from this list!) and Simon adslfjasdflk. All in the name of psychological manipulation. This is really stupid, but I hope the Bonus at the end makes up for it lmao.Features Fem!Defense Attorney!Reader. Pronouns came up in this dialogue, so I went with the pronouns requested. ^^
When you heard that Prosecutor Blackquill was on the case, you knew you were in for a world of trouble in facing him for the first time. The last thing you anticipated was for the Twisted Samurai to fire off innuendo in your direction, but perhaps that was the point. It certainly knocked you off balance, that was for sure.
“Your Baldness, it seems as if the Defense still has much to learn about jurisdiction... of which I’d be more than happy to educate her on, to make her understanding as fine as herself.” He leaned against the prosecutor’s bench at that and made direct eye contact with you, looking way too smug for his own good. “...Although that authority is limited to the boundaries of my place, so a change of location would be required.”
That was the fifth time in the past hour that he’d flirted with you and the judge had yet to call him out on his poor decorum. So, it seemed you'd to take the matter into your own hands... at the cost of bringing your argument on jurisdiction to a grinding halt. But it’d be worth it since it was becoming a serious distraction...
“Prosecutor Blackquill… are you trying to seduce me?”
“Depends.” He said, turning his back toward you before sparing you a glance over his shoulder, one of Taka’s feathers jutting out between his insufferable smirk. “Are you seducible?”
“What kind of question even is that?!” You slammed your hands down on the bench in front of you for emphasis. “O-Of course not!!!”
“Hmph.” He turned his face away, but you could still hear the shit-eating grin in his voice. “Methinks the lady doth protest too much.”
The implications of that line make your face heat up, both from indignation and embarrassment as the gallery whispered louder than usual… You really walked right into that trap, huh? But thankfully, the judge finally bangs his gavel down.
“Order! Order! Prosecutor Blackquill, I fail to see what relevance this line of questioning has for the case at hand.”
“...Your Baldness, don’t let the Defense fool you, this tangent is entirely her own doing. She’s the one who made an inquiry on the subject of seduction, after all.” He turns around to face the court properly again then, but there’s a glint in his steely eyes. “But while we’re on this subject, I actually do have a question for you. One that only you can answer.”
The judge blinked in surprise before perking up at the massaging of his ego. “You do? Well, I suppose answering one question couldn’t hurt...”
“Indeed, I do, a most important one at that.” He tapped at his temple. “Is the Defense not objectively fine? In which case, this tangent is not necessarily an attempt at seduction, but rather stating the obvious for the court record.”
The judge paled at the question, you all knew well that his wife was in the gallery that day to observe the trial (he’d told you as much in his opening statements). “Erm, I suppose, well, um, I wouldn’t... I mean...” He cleared his throat. “Th-The only woman I find to be fine is my wife.”
Simon laughed at the judge’s meandering response as he smacked the prosecutor’s bench in his delight. He was way too happy about ensnaring the judge into his little game... Yet your cheeks still felt as if they were on fire.
Damn this man... he had this court wrapped around his finger. You doubted the judge’s wife was going to be very impressed by his performance...

Bonus:
You stormed toward the Prosecutor’s lobby he was in, not agitated by your loss (as your client was guilty), but rather frustrated at Simon’s japes. In more ways than one.
You knocked on the door and it opened in only a matter of moments, as if he’d been expecting you. This bastard...!
Before he could open that stupid bloody mouth of his to greet you, you grabbed onto the knot of his black tie and pulled him down to your level. Your noses brushed against each other as you gave him a chance to reject your advances. He only smirked in response, an amused gleam in his eyes, as he remained perfectly still.
“Are you trying to seduce me?”
“That depends,” you said and leaned forward a touch, just enough so your lips were just barely brushing. “Are you seducible?”
“Hmph. Well, there’s only one way to find out now, isn’t there?”
You took the bait and hungrily pressed your lips against his without any further hesitation. You could feel him smirk into the kiss before he began to move his lips against your own and pulled you back into the lobby and allowing the doors to bang shut behind you.
