KHOC Week 2020, Day 1- Introductions
Howdy! They pop up on my tumblr once in a while, but I’d like to formally introduce my boys, Justin Tapia (1st image) and Skye Auer (2nd image) for @khoc-week ! These reference images were ordered commissions by @hinataoc Name: Justin Tapia Gender: Male Age: 19 (KH1) Height: 6’1 Home World: N/A Personality Traits: At times a bit blunt and stubborn, Justin is an adventurous romantic with a golden heart that he can’t ignore. He can be a bit rough and selfish at times, but he speaks from the heart for better or for worse. He’ll stumble and complain, but he’ll always try to do the right thing. Fears: Losing his home and family, Being helpless Likes: Stories, Skye, Outdoors, Dragons, and Tea Dislikes: Needles, Being Restrained, Being lied to, Keyblades, the Heartless Hobbies: Piloting, Reading, Traveling, and Sparring Summary: When Justin was 15, he lost his world to the Heartless and found himself in the care of Cid Highwind in Traverse Town. Unlike his adoptive family, Justin’s large draconic wings, which grew as he did overtime, emphasized how different he was from other world refugees. Over the years, as Justin grew so did his curiosity on why others from his homeworld never appeared within the world sanctuary. This curiosity was used against when he was swayed by another to steal Leon’s gummi ship to search for answers. Unknown to Justin, this was a decision that he would immensely regret. When he finally returned to Traverse Town, his optimistic view of the worlds has dulled. Despite this bitterness, he comes across an unexpected companion in Skye, a young man from Atlantica. Despite their similarities in wanting to forget the past, the pair find themselves relying on one another as they find themselves involved with the Heartless War. Name: Skye Auer Gender: Male Age: 17/18 (KH1) Height: 5’10 Home World: Atlantica Personality Traits: Despite Skye ‘s curiosity leading him down the wrong path in the past, he still sees the good before the bad. He has a strong desire to help others and believes in kindness. Yet he knows that this contradicts actions from his past, a knowledge that causes him to deflect others’ concerns for him and at times lose himself within his mind. A compassionate young man who desires to see more of the worlds and one day find his place amongst them. Fears: Ursula, Getting others hurt, Rejection, Likes: Learning, Pastries, Justin, and Traveling Dislikes: Hot weather, Sharks, Feeling useless Hobbies: Singing, Reading, Playing the flute, Summary: When Skye was 16, he met the legendary sea witch Ursula, and agreed to be within her employment for a year in order to become human. The year isn’t easy, and before he knew it, Skye found himself seeping into the Darkness. When the time comes, Ursula does fulfill his wish yet emphasizes that Skye still belongs to her servitude, regardless of his feelings on the matter. Pursued by the Heartless, Skye makes his escape to the surface, where he meets Justin, a traveling merchant. Skye finds himself torn between wanting to enjoy his growing happiness with Justin and figuring out how to become stronger so that when the Heartless War is over, he can confront and free himself from Ursula.
