Which dungeon meshi characters would pay their taxes

I think Laios and Falin might both be too much of a goody two shoes not to.

Marcille pays taxes, does the paperwork for both Touden siblings, and then worries the Canaries are gonna arrest her for making a mistake filling in the forms.

Senshi's been living off the grid for decades, so definitely not.

Chilchuck pays some taxes, but probably not everything the government wants out of him (fraud skills come with the thieving skills)

Izutsumi doesn't want to do paperwork, but luckily has no income so she doesn't have to bother with taxes.

Shipping (but the transport kind)

I have an actual serious opinion on this:

We (society) need to stop shipping things by truck or airplane immediately if we want to do anything about climate change. Shipping by train or ship produces much less pollution and greenhouse gas emission per ton of cargo per kilometre between the point of production and the point of destination, which is the metric you need to think in when thinking about the pollution of a transport system.

On a side note though, we should also stop producing everything in the global south and then shipping it over massive distances to the global north. Longer shipping distances inevitably leads to more pollution and greenhouse gas emission. On top of that, production got moved to global south countries because it's cheaper to do it there, but it's only cheaper because of massive human rights violations to the people of those countries.

Of course I know that so long as we live in a capitalist society, where monetary profit is the ultimate deciding factor in what happens, none of these changes will happen. The only solution is to overthrow capitalism and institute socialism with the goal of moving towards communism.
