I feel like this, often. #jwarrenwelch #quoteslover . What have you read lately? Are you a reader? I'm halfway through Empire of Time, the sequel to New Pompeii, both by Daniel Godfrey. This storyline is incredible, best that I've read in a long time. . I truly feel that reading is a form of magic. Ink, used to print lines on trees that have been turned into paper, your brain turns those ink lines into words, then forms pictures, entire worlds, in your mind. Good books feel almost like memories, right? You *know* those characters, those places, those lessons, like they happened in your life. Books bring depth, make you thing. They open doors, expand your views. Build empathy. . And too few people immerse themselves in novels or non-fiction or get lost in books of any type, anymore. Which is why I feel, so often, like a book... sitting open... but no one is interested in taking the time to read my pages. Maybe no one even knows how. Too busy binging on Netflix and cheap text talk and meaningless flirtation. .
