Yall this idea stemmed from a Lego incredibles game don’t ask why or how but here’s my Nublar six instrument headcanons

Yaz:

-has played many instruments before

-settled on the violin in 4th grade

-the others find this out through a video call where all of a sudden she pulled it out and started shredding Beethoven

Brooklynn

-tbh she probably learned a lot for videos

-started learning the drums for a video and really liked them

-has a band with Sammy and Ben

Ben, Darius and Sammy all know guitar.

Darius

-Darius’s dad taught him

-Eventually he got gifted his father’s guitar.

-didn’t touch it for a long time after his father died

-picked it up again when they got back from Nublar

Sammy

-Sammy knows a whole lot of classic country songs on guitar

-plays it around the camp fire when the six go camping

-her guitar is covered in doodles and stickers

Kenji

-his mother started teaching him piano

-never really cared much for music aside from that

-he accidentally learned the McDonald theme song on piano

-Ben tries teaching him a bit of guitar when they visit each other but Kenji always get frustrated

Ben

-knows a bit of violin

-focused on guitar after the island

-has also learned some piano

-plays a lot of electric guitar for his, Brooklynn, and Sammy’s band

went swimming today for the first time IN 7 YEARS 💀💀 HOW HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG but i love swimming and obviously i had to make that abt my favs so.

what the nublar six do at swimming pools

darius: mostly chills in the shallow end with brooklynn. can swim competently but isn't confident if his feet can't touch the floor. kenji has tried taking him into the deep end and encouraging him to swim small distances but he'd rather not

ben: tries to sit on the bottom of the pool for as long as possible or skim his stomach along it. runs poolside. doesnt wear goggles, just opens those big ol eyes underwater

kenji: total water baby. does a ton of laps before getting bored and splashing everyone. king of cannonballs. can hold his breath for ages but usually floats on his stomach when doing it so people worry he's drowned 💀

yaz: 8 years of diving lessons, you say? she doesn't care to dive much but praise from sammy will have her going many times. also does speed laps. wears a nose clip bc she cant stand the feeling of water going up her nose

sammy: either floats on her back or dives with kenji and yaz. if she's floating, chances are someone will grab a leg or arm and drag her somewhere. splash fights with kenji entail everyone else vacating the area. brings along a beach ball for games

brooklynn: chills with darius, sometimes just at the side of the pool. not that interested in being in the water and will sunbathe instead. if she gets in the water it'll be on a floatie with a cool drink. used to poke her fingers in the drains as a kid

Yo, we need in every season of Chaos Theory to have a scene where Yas and Sammy asks each other if they want to cause some chaos and the other immediately agrees only for it to be like in the first season where they get disappointed till the final and then it's balls to the wall and a little to much chaos. Ben is screaming at them why they'd even send that vibe out into the universe given their track record.

Listen I'm gonna make a thing out of this shipp (although I haven't finished the show yet) even if I have to do it all on my own.

So, get ready for some Yasammynn (that being Yaz x Sammy x Brooklynn) headcanons

In terms of jealously, Brooklynn is the most jealous of the three, nothing big tho, she just gets grumpy sometimes.

Speaking of Brooklynn, she loves to just brag nonstop about her two girlfriends online every chance she gets.

Poor Sammy has to constantly keep in check her two workaholic girlfriends, Yaz who literally does not know the meaning of "rest" or "day off", and Brooklynn who constantly loses track of time when editing her videos.

Once Brooklynn stayed up until sunrise and made the error of telling Sammy, she didn't speak to her for a week no matter how hard Brooklynn tried. (She briefly considered recording a video named "I slept 2 whole days so my girlfriend forgives me" but decided against it)

Sammy has the habit of naming baby animals after them. And also using animals as petnames.

Sammy is the most protective of the 3 and won't stand for any disrepect to her girlfriends.

Yaz and B are still quite protective tho and they will get physical with anyone that deserves it.

Brooklynn and Yaz do a lot of playful banter, but it gets to a point that it's like a whole different language for them, like, someone will ask Sammy why are they arguing and she'll just be like "Oh no, they are just flirting"

that is a good question. I wanna say she's bi with a preference for men but I don't think she has her sexuality 100% worked out

2. I don't really have an otp for her, but I genuinely love kenjilynn. Yazlynn's pretty cute too

3. Darius and Brooklynn are my brotp. not a huge fans of the romance interpretations but their friendship is ADORBSSSSS

4. I don't really have a notp?? maybe her and darius just because jwcc twitter was really annoying about them

5. she's secretly kpop trash but hides it bc she thinks it's embarrassing
