Concrete + glass combine to make the #JWDA lamp one of the best-selling lights in recent memory (and not just at #AplusR). When designer #JonasWagell followed up by swapping the raw concrete base for a metallic one, with 4 options to choose from, sales only, well, quadrupled. Then he released a pendant version (seen to his left in the photo). From above or tabletop, the JWDA is certainly one of our favorites. So we were thrilled to finally meet the #Swede behind the JWDA when he wandered in today, unannounced, at our #DTLA showroom. Turns out he was on holiday in #LA. Jonas did reveal one business tidbit: he and @MenuWorld, who produces the lamp, are going back to square one with the #design. Apparently, it was originally supposed to be marble and not concrete.
