“Can you do it or not?”
cheeks heated in indignation, puffing in irritation. ❛ o––of course i can! ❜ never underestimate a woman scorned. nothing quite fueled her competitive spirit like a challenge. ❛ your doubt wounds me, general cross. ❜ / ( answered for @jxdgment )

‘Hey old man you doing okay?”
"What happened to Anita..?"
“–Listen, General. I don’t know how else to tell you this. I know I spoke of her to you, she was wonderful and hope one day you would be proud of her — even if she told you off, but —-”
What happen to her, Lenalee still was able to remember that day. It was cold — a very long day for that. Just sending her off made her want to cry even more. Anita was ever so kind to her, Everything that woman did for her – made her happy, but when that time came – Lenalee couldn’t help but get teary eye for a moment and looked down. this was more painful then she thought it was going to be. Inhaling deeply she brought her head up to look at the redhead General.
“She risk her life, helping us look for you.”
Another inhale, and soon Lenalee’s vison started to go away. She was crying, but shaking her head. It hurt to think of — she never thought she would have to tell him about this. Placing her hands up agasint her face, she couldn’t help but speak before she spoke.
“ – I’m sorry, all she wanted was to make you proud, and I couldn’t even protect her long enough for her – to shove it in your face.”
Soon after she couldn’t help but hiccup, Lenalee felt bad, and for a moment she didn’t want to look at the older man, but — who knows how he would be able to take this news. She didn’t know how close they really where – lenalee just new the story behind all of it.
“ – I’m so sorry… I hope you would… forgive me.”
"Honestly you look like a twig."
‘ because I am one!”
