K-2 Town - January 2014
In January, K-2 Town will be continuing our Jesus is My Savior theme:
January 5th - Jesus’ miracles show He is God’s Son - story of Jesus rising Lazarus from the dead.
January 12th - Jesus loves everyone - the story of Zacchaeus.
January 19th - Jesus can save me from my sins - the story of Paul and Silas in prison.
January 26th - Jesus was baptized - story of John the Baptist baptizing Jesus.
K-2 Town - Overview - September 2013
In September we will continue our God Loves Me unit. The memory verse for this unit is Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
September 1 -God created people to have a friendship with Him- the story of Noah
September 8 - God is Always With Me-Moses in the basket
September 15 - God Knows Everything-Moses and the burning bush
September 22 - God is All-Powerful-Moses and the Red Sea
September 29 - The Bible is True-different passages from the Old and New Testament
K-2 Town - Overview - August 2013
In August, K-2 Town will be finishing up the Fruit of the Spirit unit:
August 4 - Gentleness
August 11 - Self-Control
Promotion Sunday is August 18th, and new kindergarteners will be coming upstairs for the first time! We will also say goodbye to our 2nd graders as they move over to Hwy 34. Promotion Sunday will also start our God Loves Me unit. We will spend the next several weeks focusing on the attributes of God.

In K2-Town this summer we will be on Friendly Acres Farm exploring the fruit of the Spirit. We will see how important it is to stay connected to Jesus so that He can grow these sweet fruits in our lives. Here is what the kiddos will be learning during the month of June:
July 7- Produce Patience (Abraham)
July 14 - Pick Kindness (David & Mephibosheth)
July 21 - Goodness (The Good Samaritan)
July 28 - Gentleness (Jesus heals the sick woman)

June 30 - Worship with your family at the Family Worship Service, 9:30 by the Lodge.
