“ Are you lost? ” Budd stopped his truck, when he saw her on the dusty roadside. There was something to look at, honestly speaking. “ I’m going to El Paso, I can give you a ride. ” He took off his cowboy hat, run his fingers through the long dark hair to fix it and put the hat back. It’s going to be an interesting morning, he thought to himself, his brows moved up and down as he looked over her.

He’s been stalking her for three days already. All the situation was unusual for him, but he couldn’t let it go. He had his rules, it didn’t mean that he cared, if someone didn’t followed the same principles. He could just go away and turn a blind eye for what had to happen, but something made him swerve out of his way and watch over her. It was stupid, but still he was there, sitting at the bar counter in the place she usually visited, as he learned the way he used to learn about his own targets.
