Footpath shopping at the age of online shopping

I agree it is an age of online shopping but the life of footpath shopping is unavoidable. While the sophisticated snobs gather at the air-conditioned shopping malls with trained and uniformed smiles of salesperson, let us jump on footpath throbbing with life.

Lets begin with the trade cries of the vendors, nobody wants to help you to choose, you are free to peep over someone’s shoulder and bargain. Bargaining is the most interesting opportunity we never get in gorgeous shopping malls, but here, just unleash your talent to bargain and you will win the match. In kolkata hatibagan, gariahat, burrabajar, new market are to most famous places for footpath shopping. Eyes can not miss the huge variety of things on show.

Your mind is surely gonna bold out looking at the gorgeous collection of jewelries, some traditional, some retro ,some modern, what you need and love after discovering them hanging in the stalls, there that one, and you will fall in love with that piece and pocket it. lets walk on now, see the bags on the left, and books on the right, wait if you have missed those bed sheets and pillow covers, aren’t the dresses so catchy, yes there Kurtas! !!the green one or the blue? Just choose and use your bargaining skills. After all its not looking bad as you have saved almost two hundred bucks.

Now if you are hungry go to any road side stall and order momo or a big fat chicken roll, or noodles, paratha,  and chicken chap or Phuchka or puri and bhaji.

Enjoy the taste and rest for a while. Then  lets go and have something for home décor or crockery or flowers. Name anything and you will be in front of it jostling and bargaining and the happiness convincing the hawker to sell the flower vase at your call oh is like gaining victory in a war and with tired legs, smiling face you come back home with two hands full with your trophies.
