I think one of the things that I miss most about Kadam is my fellow Kadamites. I know you're all still out there! But at the same time, it seems that all of us are drifting away from Glee to some extent (out of self-preservation, because dear god, Glee).
I've been in one fandom or another for - oh geez - well over a decade now, and I was always more of a lurker. The big fandoms always overwhelmed me to some extent. But with Kadam, it wasn't like that. I don't even know where I'm going with this, but I miss the heyday of Kadam and the enthusiastic little community of Kurtsies. We've quieted so much lately.
In 'honor' of Glee's season 5 premiere I thought I'd finally mention a few actual dreams I've had recently.
Not saying they mean anything, or I'm psychic (... allllllthough I have been known to have psychic!smartass powers lol... or is it smartass!psychic?? not sure... but of note, for example my being a smartass answer to "who will be Prom King? Totally called it! If spoilers are accurate. just sayin' ;) )
So in dream 1:
It was a hazy unreality like dreams have where I was watching TV but not. A teaser preview for the new season of Glee comes on and Kurt and Adam are cuddling on the couch in the loft (like adorable puppies).
(and in the dream I'm thinking "OMG! Adam is finally back! And they're so sweet together!"
.... Santana shows up, Santana!snarks the cuddling, and then for some reason Adam gets up to get something in the kitchen/at the door (can't remember which)....
... and (like the practical joke of a bucket of some substance over the door) a tray of pink cupcakes falls on Adam, covering him in icing. (yeah yeah, I know....) Santana's cracking up and smirking about "Kurt cleaning Adam up... with his tongue, wanky" as Adam stands there momentarily stunned and adorable, and Kurt begins to clean off the icing.... with a cloth but he and Adam are playful and laughing as he does.
Fade out.
Dream 2:
Apparently a bootlegged copy of the premiere is circulating the internet. I of course get a copy. I'm expecting... well what we are expecting of the premiere.
Except, turns out.... Kurt's not even in Lima anymore. Camera pans to a nice little cafe in NY, and there's Kurt at a table.... WITH ADAM.
I'm thinking/ saying to my family nearby "Oh my god! Those trolls!! :lmao: RIB are complete trolls! They trolled EVERYONE!!!"
Back to the bootlegged episode, Kurt and Adam are laughing and sharing a quiet, intimate lunch. Adam reaches out across the table and Kurt takes his hand. Adam says he has something for him.
Adam gives him a smallish box as Adam says something about it being a token of his affection. Kurt opens it to find a lovely silvery bracelet-cuff detailed with delicate scrollwork. Kurt smiles warmly at Adam as he puts on the bracelet.
And I'm both laughing and 'awwww-ing' the scene.
So... there it is. Proof that I'm at total sap at heart and go to sleep too often reading about Glee on tumblr. lol
And hey, if anything remotely like these dreams actually happen in the episode or episodes to come, I'll be setting up and posting my Psychic!(Smartass)!Hotline soon thereafter! ;)
