I thought of the summary of a parody fic of the movie Elf that I’m going to write this Christmas season omg

Basically it’s Elf... but with Kaito

Kaito has been raised by elves at the North Pole (like Buddy) and spends his whole life thinking he’s a magical elf just like them (kinda like the movie). Kaito realizes he’s a human and goes to New York where he meets his brother Akaito who is a huge grumpy pessimist and doesn’t believe in joyful things and he ruins his life (while also making it better).

Kaito develops a crush on Dell, a stern loner boy who likes to sing but is always stressed out. Akaito has a badly hidden crush on Haku, a kind yet shy and downcast girl.

Kaito realizes Akaito likes Haku, and teases him.

“When you see Haku, you turn redder than Santa’s nose. I know you like her!”

Haku is sad because she doesn’t believe in miracles anymore. Akaito wants to cheer Haku up, despite not believing in miracles himself. But with Kaito around, Akaito slowly starts to believe again. After all, it’s a miracle that Akaito was able to have met Haku.

“Haku, I... I know firsthand that... miracles... can happen. Because... It was a miracle that I met you.”
