A glow was cast upon her hair, a white rivaling his own piercing eyes, remnant from the night sky’s crescent.
Thud.
The idea of engaging had nearly escaped him, his fingertips tracing along the wooden table as he passed. The racing thoughts between mere seconds intruded in his mind, the first knock breaking the fragile silence. The echo rolled over the walls, an effect only abrupt sound can bring.
Thud.
Another ripple of sound let loose from the hardwood table, his attempts at drawing her attention. An awaited encounter by any stretch, such abrupt action worth the outcome as she begun to turn around. Her eyes, a jade-like green captivated his first glance, a familiar white wrapping seamlessly around her inner eye. His lips curled into a sly smirk.

easy ones first: akemis a bee and findlays a luna moth
juniper.. uhh… blue weevil cus the color is accurate and i like weevils. i want to kiss their face. and this is a defining trait of juniper obviously
venus is a cockroach cus i swear you could throw this bitch into the sun and they would crawl their way out and heal
umiko is a goliath beetle because they’re big and friendly unless they feel threatened. most people would probably be scared to hold them even though it’s probably fine
kai gets to be a mosquito. i think kai Wants to be a mosquito. any excuse to drink blood
aris a little firefly! i cannot explain this, but it feels very right
murray would Like to be a giant aquatic isopod. i will let him be one

a lot of these are gonna be what animal I visualize them as rather than what they’d pick…. hmmm….
juniper likes deer, elk, caribou, she’d be something like that, with antlers. you think she’s weak cus shes a frightened prey animal but actually she’ll kill you in one hit cus she’s a frightened prey animal.
venus is definitely the wolf kid you know? i can see them as a coyote though, or one of the big cats. i actually think they really like caracals
umiko….. is also like a wolf or like a really big german shepherd. she’s intimidating. she could very easily tear you to shreds. but oh my gods she’s such a big sweetheart she’s kinda clumsy and she’s way more protective than aggressive. shes a gentle giant
kai is a chihuahua. no further comments
ari issssssss a lot of things, ideally xi would be a shapeshifter, but she would probably pick a hyena. hehe
findlay would really like to be a dragon but Technically thats a scalie. if you made him pick an animal other than a dragon cus that doesn’t count to you he would choose a crow to be annoying
