HIM.
Is it just me, or do y’all ever just want to cry for Kakashi? In the post-war episodes, you can drastically see his mannerisms and personality change.
When his backstory is introduced to us, we get an in-depth view of what his childhood was like and all the trauma that he suffered even before he reached the age of 15.
His father’s suicide, the guilt he carried for years after Obito’s death, not being able to keep his promise to Obito, Rin’s death(I emphasize this because, hello, hand through chest. Duh.) Minato’s death.
This child shut off all of his emotions except for Guilt and Regret. Self-loathing was also included in that.
And for many years we saw that he wanted to die. Believed he didn’t deserve to live. And then- Obito turns out to be alive.
And he gets the proper farewell from his friend that he needed and the relief that washes over him knowing that IT WASN’T HIS FAULT.
It’s like there were chains squeezing his heart, not letting him live his life or move on from that grief. And all I can think about is how happy it makes me to see that Kakashi, a man of much needed love, is finally able to smile and love the people close to him.
He finally accepts that, yes, people do care for him. And truly do love him.
And that makes me want to shed tears of joy.
Because out of everyone, he deserves love.
Have more Kakashi posts you’ll never know how much u need them (*´꒳`*)
