listen, i just think everyone should become a lot more normal about trans women and black people.

i think if you'd participate in the smear campaigns against a trans woman you'd be willing to lynch a black man, and if you're willing to lynch a black man you're willing to kill a black woman even quicker. i feel like if your reaction to an allegation of abuse against a minority is to condemn and excise a person from community without ever confirming evidence of accusation then you are no different than the monsters who lynched Emmett Till.

you are prepared to maim and destroy a person based on hearsay and you will call it "protecting your community." you are the same as Trump with the Central Park 5. you are every single jury that has put an innocent black man to death. you are the girl on my 5th grade soccer team who tried to get me suspended for not passing the ball to her by crying to the coach and saying i called her a slut, you are my sophomore chemistry teacher who called security on me for "making her feel unsafe," you are my high school debate partner who threatened to strangle me if i made physical contact with her and tell the world i tried to rape her.

you are every single fair-skinned cis girl who has known exactly how blow the whistle that summons dogs that kill negroes, and my job is now to make sure you never come near me and mine for the rest of my life.

i still cant get over this. i've been on tumblr in some form for more than 12 years. my first credit as an artist on something in print came from meeting people on tumblr. my art finds a very specific niche on tumblr.

i rode out the "russian chaos agents" shit. i rode out the porn ban. i've managed to stay on this stupid fucking website for more than a decade despite the people running it slowly churning it into grist. and now everything i have ever made and uploaded to it has been dumped into the fucking plagiarism bot that's actively putting me out of work.

i hope automattic fucking crumbles. i hope that whiny little millionaire gets buries in lawsuits. i cant even delete my work off of here because they did this shit under our noses. fuck this shit man.

this is now an art only blog!

been debating this for awhile, but ive decided that rather than make a new blog with only art, im just going to stop reblogging random things to this one. tumblr's great for organizing things based on tags and whatnot, but frankly i just want a space where i can be an insane person and the things i make exist on their own. however, i DONT want to rebuild my follower count (which ran away from me quicker than i could figure this out), and i've got a few professional links that go back to this blog as a portfolio as well. so from here on, i'm exclusively just posting art and answering asks on this blog!

if you actually like my deranged bullshit and my bloated queue of rotating shitposts then feel free to follow me on @purrgatoria now. i'll probably talk more often and post wips and garbage too. i'll let the queue of posts peter out on this blog, and then i'll fill that queue back up on my side. ty!

if this goddamn site tries to turn into twitter after i deliberately left it because it was imploding on itself im going to fucking scream. just fix the fucking glitches and improve searchability aughhhhhhhh
