She picked up on his tone, perhaps he was in a good mood. A good day for him in the Soul Soiciety...she assumes? ❝ yes, sir. I've been fine....❞ she still answers apprehensively. For what yrpose did he ask that ? She's always been the same way each time. It seemed pointless to ask.

But she shrugs it off. He was in a better mood & it was a question nonetheless.

Besides, if she said she did, it would be a lie & even so, he would weaponize it. But was it even necessary for him to use it as encouragement in this moment?

❝ LOOK at what they had done to me. ❞ she resigns. The Soul Society has her kn a leash like a dog & willing to put her down , OR in the pit with a dragon like him. At least it made her feel a little better that he too was restrained.

FRACTURED BEFORE HER FATHER. She never thought she would be standing before him again after their tragic departure in Karakura Town. She didn't want to speak to him. She wasn't looking with her back facing the chair he was set on. She kept still & had been still since the gate to the royal palace had closed. She stayed behind. She couldn't bring herself to be with the others. SHE DIDN'T BELONG THERE ANYWAY .

It was silence between them after. She tried to filter the spitting responses spiraling in her head since he first arrived out from that pit. But among all of them only one stuck.

❝ I am not foolish enough to deny that. I promise it only comes once in a while. ❞ it's burdensome. Normally, Akari was not one who fought unnecessary battles, but this ITCH had turned into that hollow NEED aching at her. She was restless.

Had he not raised her to be a powerhouse? She fears stagnation without challenge. This slow silence was the definition.

that question is unexpectedly difficult to answer. by all accounts, he should hate aizen. the man orchestrated rukia's execution, as though her life were worth nothing more than that of an ant. but she survived. the man sent arrancars to the world of the living, where they hurt several people. but none of those people died. the man had orihime kidnapped and taken to hueco mundo, branded a traitor by soul society. but she was rescued.

aizen has undoubtedly hurt the people he has cared about, but with all of them still breathing, alive and well for the most part, the truth is . . .

the substitute crosses his arms, brow furrowed in thought. there is certainly dislike, but it is not intense enough to be called hate. so what does he feel toward aizen?
