Kamacite

A nickel-rich variety of iron; α-(Fe,Ni). The principle constituent of a typical octahedrite meteorite with about 92% iron and 7% nickel.

Polished, acid-etched sphere of an iron-nickel meteorite. The pattern of intergrown crystals is called a Widmanstätten pattern. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it in a sphere before - looks like some of the crystals actually go from side to side and basically create circles on this surface!

no i totally feel you. im terrified of anything medically related, so i was super nervous when i got mine out. but yes look forward to the nap because sleeping afterwards is the best thing. the doctors are there to help you relax too, so it’ll be ok!

Thank u so much I'm hoping since it's kinda early in the morning I'll be too sleepy to really care and I'll be fine until I can come home and go back to bed.

it’s not that bad, i promise you. you’ll just get kinda sleepy and you won’t feel anything. and you get to eat soft things like mashed potatoes and ice cream for a few days, so that’s cool too 8)

That's what everyone says and I hope they're right these kinds of things just make me super anxious esp. when I've never had them done before so I don't know exactly what's going to happen.

The only thing I'm anticipating is coming home and going back to sleep afterward.
