When kaminari stumbled through the door of the dormitory, you watched him closely. He seemed a little out of it, holding his head and blinking rapidly.

"hey...Denki," you greeted with an unsure smile, "you good?"

"I..." he paused, frowning, "I think so."

"you sure?" you asked, cocking your head to the side.

He seemed to sober up, eyes clearing and his stance becoming confident once more. He flashed you a smile and nodded, “yep! all good!” 

Before you could say anything else, he was running up the stairs with heavy footfalls. You shrugged it off and continued about your business until you retired up to your bedroom. 

The next morning, when you got up and went to the kitchen intending to get some breakfast, only to discover a strange scene. A crowd of your classmates were surrounding a familiar head of blonde hair. There was laughter coming from Mina and Sero -- even Bakugou seemed highly amused by what was going on. 

“What’s going on?” you asked, raising a brow as you approached the couch where Kaminari had his hands over his mouth with wide eyes.

“Oh my god, ______!” Jirou was near tears from holding back her laughter. You’d think the blonde had short-circuited by the level of amusement she felt. 

“It seems Kaminari was hit with some kind of quirk,” Todoroki said, voice as collected as usual with his arms crossed over his chest.

“What kind?” you asked.

Tokoyami answered this time from where he was sitting on the couch opposite of Kaminari, “We can only assume it was some kind of honesty quirk.”

“Hey Kaminari!” Kirishima giggled, leaning against his friend’s shoulder, “Tell us your most embarrassing story.”

Kaminari kept his hands clasped over his mouth, shaking his head rapidly from side to side. His friends were still laughing at him. 

“Oh, I know…” Mina reached over and grabbed your arm, “Tell us what you think of _______!”

Kaminari’s eyes widened, cheeks turning bright red. With his hands holding his lips shut, he didn’t speak but Mina remedied it by shoving you into his arms. The blonde reacted on instinct, reaching out to catch you with a gasp. 

Your group of friends went quiet as Kaminari opened his mouth. You sat up, meeting his nervous gaze. 

Fighting back his confession was impossible as the words tumbled out of his mouth, “I-I think you’re so pretty a-and sweet. When I see you I get really...nervous and I want to kiss you!”

Mina squealed, jumping up and down excitedly, “That’s so cute! _____ tell him!”

You shot a glare at your friend for also outing you but since Kaminari had confessed, you figured it was only fair. Turning to him, you smiled, shrugging your shoulders, “I like you too, Denki!”

Kaminari flopped back onto the couch with a groan, “Oh thank god.”

“Finally!” Sero and Kirishima groaned, “He’ll finally shut up about you now!”

“Hey!” Kaminari sat up, frowning, “You guys are dicks.”

∴ kaminari can go two ways after fighting a villain with his s/o. and it all depends on how bad it was.

∴ if it wasn’t a really bad fight and you’re more just bruised and sore, he’ll just appreciate being able to hold you. ∴ you’re both emotionally frazzled ― fighting villains together was difficult because you had a duty to protect civilians and apprehend the criminal but you also were desperate to protect each other as well. ∴ with adrenaline wearing off, he’ll turn into a drowsy cuddle bug. ∴ seriously, you’ll need a crowbar to pry him off. ∴ would offer to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie or something to help you both unwind. ∴ yes, his arms are wrapped around you the entire time. ∴ he’ll take pride in being able to make you smile and laugh with stupid jokes as you spent this intimate time together. ∴ the two of you will get into bed that night and fall asleep talking ― appreciating the time you have together. ∴ like a 60% chance it’ll turn into the two of you having sex.

∴if it was a bad fight and he saw you get hurt badly, he’ll probably relive the moment in his head, holding you close to him while he thinks about how your job could seriously kill you. or him. ∴ of course, he already knew that but sometimes it just hit him all at once how dangerous the job was. ∴ he’ll help you bandage your cuts and make sure there’s nothing really serious despite you assuring him you have no broken bones or anything life threatening. ∴ you’ll take a shower together to wash the grime off of your bodies before switching it to a bath. ∴ he’ll hold you against his chest, hiding his face in your neck as he attempts to keep his thoughts from getting too dark. ∴ you’ll have to talk to him and reassure him about your safety but he’ll still be abnormally quiet until  he gets over it. ∴ he’ll cling to you all night, probably have a bad dream and wake you up to talk about it a bit before falling back asleep. ∴ his biggest nightmare is not being able to protect you and that keeps him up at night.
