the way “rebirth” has been playing out Kyle and Carol may have never been a thing now. Continuity is all fast and loose until someone specifically says otherwise these days.
You know? I could see this coming. With all the Kyrol hate out there that I saw and I’m not even in America? I’m not surprised. I’m just disappointed that there wasn’t even closure on it. If Kyle and Carol are still good friends and parted on good terms though, then I’m happy. It’s what I wanted them to be all along.
There’s a lot of Soranik x Kyle fans out there. I wasn’t one because I read the Green Lantern Corps run in reverse, and read them breaking up before I read their relationship at all. Because of that, I believed in the relationship between Kyle and Guy more than him and Soranik. Hopefully this time will be better if that’s DC’s intent :) I am keen to be invested in their relationship.
