I agree, but to be fair, it was only a little more than 17% of the Finnish voters who voted for them. Given that they are the only half-way believable anti-immigration, anti-eu, climate change -sceptic party here, that really isn’t that big a percentage, even if it did make them the second largest party in this election. And to make it clear: the day I vote for PS is the day hell freezes over.

And while I'm not happy that they are the second largest party, I'm also not necessarily enthused about sdp being the largest -- their promises sound grand and all, but I'd like to know where they're gonna get the money to go through with all those promises without increasing our already humongous national debt. It'll be an interesting four years, that's for sure.

@kanerame okay yes a fair point! It just seemed a bigger number yesterday when I was watching the vaalivalvojaiset and hoping they would not become the biggest party. I’m not a fan of sdp or kokoomus either. They’re definitely better than perussuomalaiset, but I don’t believe half the promises they make. The term “interesting“ is definitely a good one in this situation. :D I’m just waiting to see who Antti Rinne wants in the cabinet with them. I find it hard to believe it would be perussuomalaiset, but you never know nowadays!

But what I am really happy about is that vihreät got more places and there are so many women! Yay.

I'd agree about the trauma if it wasn't so belated and out of the blue. He never flinched away from Stiles or was scared of HIM when he was the void, nor when the Nogitsune was gone. Stiles was no longer angry, either, at the point Scott flinched.--

He’d turned sad and desperate by then, asking how he could fix things. That’s when stepped closer and Scott stepped back. But I suppose this is a point we’ll have to disagree on? What I do agree on is that TW deals with all the trauma inadequately.

Scott SHOULD have suffered from proper trauma. Hell, even Stiles should have suffered from a worse PTSD. It was all either glossed over or brushed off. It was entirely unsatisfying and disappointing.

You’re writing this like there’s a deadline for people’s reactions to traumatic events. When the fandom readily accepts that Derek Hale is still affected by the death of his family 6 years after the fact, you cannot say that Scott shouldn’t be affected by being stabbed in the stomach by his best friend when 1 year haven’t passed since the event. 

You’re not even trying to think of why this scene would be triggering for Scott. You’re dismissing it entirely.

How many times have Scott and Stiles fought on screen since that incident? How many times has Stiles approached Scott with a weapon? 

The last time Scott fought, in the rain, in front of the clinic, with Stiles armed, he was tortured.

How many times can you say a situation occurred with these parallels?

How many events could have affected Scott in this way?

One more thing! Do we at least agree on the fact when that Stiles killed Donovan, it was an act of self-defense, and an accident besides? I noticed someone pointing out that Theo wasn't arrested when he told the Sheriff Stiles' story, but killing in self-defense is (I think?) not a punishable crime. I think Stiles himself feels like it's his fault either way, which is why he never told the two people most against killing about what happened. But do we agree on this much at least? :')

When someone says they kill someone in self-defense, you’re NOT supposed to just take their word for it.

That’s stupid. The Sheriff is written as useless and terrible. The fact that Theo got to walk away JUST by saying that is ridiculous. 

Yes, what Stiles did was self-defense. In my opinion, the fact that the writers chose to have the incident as completely accidental is cheap and lazy. There is no conflict there. Then bringing Donovan back to life effectively assuages Stiles of guilt. And you just know that no one is going to blame Stiles for lying to Scott and to everyone for weeks on end.

Stiles didn't really get to explain what happened because he didn't know Scott knew the wrong story. I think he was so defensive and angry because despite everything he still blames himself for the death, and is afraid to be judged. And I'd agree ---

So you’re willing to sympathize with Stiles’s decision to withhold information for weeks on end, but Scott is supposed to magically know that he was being lied to, and then he’s supposed to rush to Stiles’s rescue in the same day he found out Stiles betrayed his trust.

Stiles is allowed to feel defensive and angry about being judged. 

Scott isn’t allowed to feel hurt that his best friend lied to him, or threatened by the same weapon Stiles used to kill someone.

Sheriff arresting Kira without further evidence, THAT I can agree was wrong. Especially knowing what he does abt the supernatural. It was illogical besides? I get he's struggling between his duties as a cop vs. as a dad, and maybe the dad won with--

Stiles because he was his own son, who knows. But that he made that call was super weird. He would have made it different had he known the entire controlling thing, but his decision was still hasty. That much I absolutely agree with.

If he can’t do his job properly then the Sheriff has no business pretending to be a competent officer. 

At this point, everyone can agree that he isn’t competent, at all.

And with how much leeway Stiles gets from his father, it shouldn’t be surprising that Scott thinks Stiles should tell the Sheriff what happened. And Stiles agreed with him, too.

What I don’t understand is why you found Scott’s suggestion so bizarre, but Stiles’s acceptance of it perfectly acceptable.

SO he has definitely trusted strangers, even Theo, although ultimately Theo found his secret out on his own. He has yet to doubt Scott's word, though, right? The scene is so jarring for me because I still think Sciles would trust each other---

in situations like these. It feels unreal to me that Scott would, without further proof, believe Stiles to have mindlessly rage-killed, to not believe he’d had no other choice, and then brush him off. It felt out of character to who he has been bfr.

Stiles took the wrench from Scott admitted it was his. Stiles admitted he killed Donovan. Stiles focused on his motives and was convinced that everything he did was justified. Scott asked multiple times why Stiles did what he did, and Stiles never explained himself.

You think Scott should have somehow expected there to be another version of the story, when Stiles - the ONLY person who would tell him about it - was withholding this information?

How do you think Scott was supposed to think up this alternative scenario? Is he supposed to read Stiles’s mind?
