Régine dancing her ass off
Draw it, kanpe-chan, draw that bubble butt! A colored up version of one of @takumi-exe‘s sketches that I tried out. Lines are by him and colors are by me. Wonderful asses man. Original artist at http://takumi-exe.tumblr.com/post/167608372007/more-like-yo-kai-butts-am-i-right-did-a
Making Progress I guess.
Qaletaqa gets annoyed when people think he is a fey due to his horns. He doesn’t have eyes, just knot holes. His hair grows at a supernatural rate, it is thick and mossy and he plucks tufts of it off to smoke. The scent always smells like whatever pleases you most and naturally draws you to him. Smoking is a calming habit for him but he doesn’t like talking to the people who are inevitably drawn to him, so he has a standoffish front to shoo people away. He only talks to people who genuinely interest him.
Suzan is struggling to pass as human, Her pointed ears, frog eyes and mucus give her away as a Dziwożona. She hides her ears under her hair, wears contacts of glasses, and wears absorbent gloves and boots to keep the worst of the mucus from touching things. However, if she gets nervous or upset she sweats slime and mud. This upsets her as humans slowly get more and more uncomfortable around her, which makes her more upset, makes her look less human, and makes people around her more uncomfortable in a vicious cycle. She hopes spending more time around monsters will make her feel like less of a freak. She loves to dance but feels self conscious.
Thats what I got so far for these two.
A few shots from last night’s Kanaval Kanpe, celebrating Haitian culture at Montreal’s Metropolis concert hall.

10 ans du tremblement de terre en Haïti - Les cofondatrices de KANPE témoignent
KANPE was in its infancy when the earthquake of January 12, 2010 struck Haiti. The two co-founders of KANPE, Dominique Anglade and Régine Chassagne recall this milestone event for its great impact on their personal lives and its meaning for their future involvement in their country of origin.
