He was actually out of the lab today, but it wasn't by choice. It was because his lab partner was grating on his last nerve and he had to get out before he strangled him with some very ripe smelling entrails. Since Newt figured he'd probably get into some serious trouble for that, he took the only other option he had and left.

So there he was, actually out for once, sitting at a table surrounded by about four different tablets, switching between each of them as he made notes, annotations, and looked up facts for the reports he was working on. He was so engrossed with his work that he wouldn't have noticed the person who'd walked up to him had they not been standing right in the light, effectively eliminating the glare from the screen he was looking at.

"Oh, that's pefect," he said. "Stay right there for a few more seconds and..... There, done!"

He looked up with a grin.

"You've made yourself useful today. Congrats, dude."
