So... the link insert option still isn't working. That's said. Anyway. Here is part 18 of "Karak'nirir the goddess of creation" Chapter title: The Tailor Summary: Team Voltron lands on earth to prepare for Haggar's imminent attack.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary:
She was Karak'nirir, a goddess that had been worshipped by the Ilaniens for centuries. Her presence was known to the universe, and feared by all. She was powerful. Powerful enough to control the oceans on all the planets. She was considered the bearer of life itself, since no life could exist without water to nurture it.
And she was tired of her powers. Many were wanting but there was only one she thought worthy. Who could be more worthy than the Blue Paladin? Aka: Lance McClain.
Alternatively: The god!Lance AU no one asked for

Chapter update.
Excerpt: "I missed you, mom. I missed all of you. You're my family, of course I did! But I didn't start missing you on that road trip. I've been missing you since I got to the Garrison and that didn't even bother you. You want to know why I'm home? Because I have a question. I knew that you missed me, that my disappearance tore this family apart and I did not want that for you. I knew you would miss me. What I don't know is, did you miss me because you noticed I was gone or because of the posters?"

Excerpt of chapter 7: (Context: Lance is a god now, after Karak'nirir inherited her powers to him. Now, Lotor has stepped onto the stage and is complicating things.)
"If Karak'nirir can read his mind and knows what kind of person he is upon first meeting him, then she could just tell him 'no' and leave without trouble. If he's so powerful that he could overtake her, then he doesn't really need her powers now, does he and it won't make a difference to us, since she doesn't interfere anyway."
Lotor would like to argue that the logic of that was very sound and the voice of the blue paladin sounded careless and cheerful as well... but somehow Lotor felt sweat gather on his neck. It was like the blue paladin was marking him as a target, with his piercing blue eyes boring themselves into his soul from an angle.
