[Byakkomaru Starter Call] @kare-ru
Powerful muscles rippled beneath the snow white fur of the demon as he prowled down the ruined street, scouting ahead to ensure there was no trouble. And if there was, he took the liberty of striking it down if he so desired to do so. Shinya was elsewhere, peaceful and fast asleep. It had not been Shinya’s choice or decision, but HIS to emerge. After a while, Byakkomaru leapt on top of a pile of rubble and made himself at comfortable, eyes shut and basking in the sun.
How long he remained like that he couldn’t say. But the faintest sound had his ears perking and abnormally blue eyes snapping open to lock on the human starting to walk on the ground below. Guren. A pause to debate which form, and then blue flames danced around him and he shifted to his more humanoid form. After, he leapt down with feline grace, landing softly despite his size and eyed Guren suspiciously.
“Guren. Shouldn’t you be with the others?”

“You said something to Yu about new special training,” Mika stood against the wall, had sat there stewing in his own thoughts for what felt like hours waiting on the chance to catch Guren alone. He’d been spotting over the past few days as Yu tried to gain control of his seraph powers; what worried Mika is just how Guren planned to make use of them once he did. That kind of power wasn’t something to be toyed with; he’d think that Guren would know that best of all. “Since you let me overhear you, I’m assuming that means you’re going to need my help.” He might hate the man, but even he would acknowledge that Guren wasn’t that careless. If Mika heard, it was because Guren wanted him to. “If it will help Yu then I’ll play along, but don’t think for a second this means that I trust you.”
“What is it you want me to do?”
