Hopes for Faking It Season 3B

But enough criticizing the current season, lets try to see what could be improved for the hopeful next season. For Starters lets have the show actually delve deeper into that band plot they introduced this year in 3A. Focus on Karma, Noah, and Shane’s band, AND add Reagan to it.

Having Reagan interact with Karma both at work (cater waiter-ing) and in the band will add the much needed dynamic of giving Karma a strictly platonic and more importantly female scene partner to voice her many Amy-related concerns to in total confidence. Plus having Reagan show up again for band practice could add a nice bit of head-scratchy misleads to Amy about why her BFF and her Ex are spending so much solo time together.

Reagan is the Perfect Support System for Karma

Since the premiere of the show its become very clear that Karma is in desperate need of a support system. To be successful this needs to be someone who is in no danger of either:

Sleeping with Karma thus stealing focus from her journey

Sleeping with Amy, thus compromising the Karmy ship

Or sabotaging Karma’s trust by spilling her secrets.

Reagan is the only character I can see best positioned to deliver on all of these criteria and best serve Karma as a secret gay guru. Sorry Shane, Felix & Amy but you guys just don’t measure up here..

Reagan is someone who is distant enough from Karma/Amy while still being well apprised of ALL the drama surrounding them, and she is in the best position to guide Karma through her confusion WITHOUT betraying her trust like Shane inevitably would. Equally as important, there’s no danger of her becoming romantically involved with “straight girl” Karma OR her ex-gf Amy again since she’s seen the warning signs and is now providing a sympathetic ear to Karma’s own inner turmoil & doesn’t wish to further contribute to the mess.

In one fell swoop we’d reestablish Karma’s central conflict concerning the teased potential for Karmy romance, and give some much-needed depth to the Hester High universe by Re-purposing a much beloved character like Reagan in a new, yet highly essential role in the main plot.

Plus as an added bonus, Reagan could come to terms with her previously held limited worldview on Bisexual girls by witnessing the “Apotheosis of Karma” right before her very eyes. Redeeming her of that wrongly assigned biphobic label she’s been saddled with since her ouster last season

These are just a few of my thoughts on the matter and where I’d like to see the show to go towards getting back on track if we get another season. Reagan still has so much character potential left for me and Karma desperately needs a PLATONIC Female sounding board who isn’t Amy & who also isn’t in danger of falling for her.

The show’s move of dispensing of Reagan’s character out of hand and never returning to her is a wasted opportunity in my book.

Please Bring Back Reagan!!!

Why no one has mentioned the fact that Karma has been cater-waitering as a job regularly. Which means she has to be with Reagan almost every day.

And about Reagan, why did she find out that her ex was cater-waitering the day of the event if they work for the same firm?
