Rereading @kingarslan 's novel translations since I've reread the manga way too many times and thought this would be a better way to re-experience the story. Maybe I should've started all the way back from the beginning, but shush! This is well in line w my age-old tradition of picking a specific manga chapter (32 adjacent or 59) and reading from there instead of the beginning.

I know I have pointed out specific instances of the contrast between how Team Arslan greets Arslan vs how everyone else greets the other royals— Arslan and everybody else having to kneel for Andragoras and Tahamenay, Andragoras getting mad at Kishward for forgetting to kneel, VS Team Arslan standing to greet Arslan. Incredibly pleased that this detail seems to be in the novels too?
