Petra was never quite sure how to approach Shamir, at all. It didn’t help that her knowledge of Fodlan’s language was nothing short of limited, despite her remarkable progress in a relatively short time frame. Shamir was very blunt and to-the-point about her thoughts, more open than even Petra was, and sometimes harshly so. She was something of an anomaly here at the monastery too, however, serving the Knights of Seiros, yet having no belief in the Church, although as Petra heard it, she was here because she ‘owed a debt’ to Rhea, though what that debt might be, Petra really didn’t know, nor did she intend to ask.
However, Shamir might know some details about the war that Petra didn’t, things that the future ruler of Brigid might need to be aware of. This was her best connection to Dagda and any knowledge about that land that might be useful to her.
“Shamir, I am having a question I m wishing to be asking you, if you are having the willingness to answer it.”
