A recording of just the 'banjo' sound from this week's Disquiet Junto entry. This is karplus Strong physical modelling - using a short pulse of sound to excite a very short bucket brigade delay, with a filtered feedback loop. The sound pulse is usually white noise, but here I used four oscillators tuned to a chord, so that the little bit of the pulse you can hear sounds a bit like the sympathetic resonance of the open strings when one string is plucked.
