“Kasal the Commitment”
We live in a world wherein people are having a hard time to please other people. We live in a world that is full of discrimination. We are living in an era where people have different philosophies and beliefs that other people will not agree with. The movie “Kasal the Commitment” contains all of these aspects. It clearly shows that gay couples are still not fully accepted by the society. It tackles about love, commitment and issues such as inequality for gay couples. So the main goal of this film was to be an eyeopener and build awareness towards how we should normalize homosexuals and gay couple.
As we all live in this society, we cannot deny the fact that gay couple are being disgusted by the community especially those people who lacks the knowledge about LGBT+ community and that’s our job to educate this people, enlighten them and build awareness on how to respect the person’s own choices.
We’re not entitled to let these gay couples to feel sorry and ashamed for who they are, for who they want to be with. It’s not something or even a little thing that could affect someone’s worth. We all do have our freedom of choice and this should not limit to our sexual preferences. That is why most LGBT+ people around the world refused to tell anyone even their family about their sexuality because of the norms that we have in this kind of society. And I hope someday that gay people do not need to come out anymore because there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. For that being said, we should all raise this awareness, to stop the stigma, and let these people live the life they want.
