I might’ve been the only kid ever who liked Rocky more than Jason and was sad to see him get demoted to Blue because I liked him as Red
(I don’t want to say I liked him more than Tommy because I liked Tommy in the way you’d root for a sports team or you’d root for someone in a fight or something, I thought he was cool and I wanted him to continue to get the opportunity to be cool, but part of the reason why I liked him so much was because he was with Kim and I loved Kim so that brought Tommy up in my eyes, but I definitely was like more interested in Rocky’s plots in Zeo compared to the plots they gave Tommy that season, and by the time Tommy got with Kat I didn’t like him as much and by Turbo I was tired of the characters in general (aside from Adam) and I was very upset when I started that season and Rocky wasn’t there, and I also definitely was upset when Aisha wasn’t there for Zeo. Bring her back!!!)
I don’t know what it was about Rocky that I was drawn to as a kid but from what I can remember he was the one I enjoyed most of the Stone Canyon trio (I liked all of them, and much more than the original trio) and I think I may be the only person ever to feel that way. And definitely the only 8 year old, because if anyone else felt that way it was definitely likely due to some heavy lifting on their part to add some complexity to the character, while I liked him exactly how he was in the show. And if I’m going to be honest, I think I now like him more than Tommy.
