Finally trying out a more goth look after dreaming of it for years, I'm having fun c:
Got my HEMA armour last week and my hair dyed yesterday, my girlfriend said my outfit looked like Nygma 😭
Played Candela Obscura with my girlfriend and some friends last night and had an absolute blast playing a callous, somewhat evil, rich bitch goth who never learned when enough is enough xD
Guess I should make a pinned post at last, for my reference at least.
Hi, I'm Katherine, or Kat, or a suitable pun though you have to be funny with it. I'm a big ol' nerd who is also pretty sporty but held back by a mildly broken body and terrible sleeping habits
I mostly just reblog here, but I do/did a bit of writing at @chridys-scribbles and have some fitness, outfit, and increasingly confident pictures at @barely-awake-sword-girl
Pictures of me are tagged #kat irl, if you're interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise I tag with abandon and rambles
I hope you have a nice day :3
So I have my own 2 hour long, weekly college radio show now.
:)
So far I seem to be the best in my beginner pottery class. My other two classmates have more failed projects than me and the 2nd years that share the space complement my work. The more experienced students have started teaching me tips and tricks. I’m happy to have a community again. I now realize that getting stuck in my hometown might have been a blessing after all, since this area is famous for their ceramic artists. I can’t wait to start glazing my work. I can feel happiness returning again. I think I was meant to do this. I feel better at the potter’s wheel than I do anywhere else.
So I just had a birthday, and after my quick and dirty existential crisis about that I have decided that what I really want to do is own my own business and become a ceramic artist. My first class starts soon, and my accountant and I have already drawn up my plan for the first year. The original plan was just to focus on my small soap making business but I have decided to go bigger and brand myself for both soap and ceramics. My website is already under construction, business cards are already printed, and I’m feeling good about the future.
