Seeing as Liv was quintessentially English, she took afternoon tea every day. Her family was aristocratic, so she grew up doing so and she imagined she would for the foreseeable future. This afternoon, Liv had invited Katherine to her home to join her. Usually, she stopped by the bakery, but this time she decided they should change things up. And besides, she wanted to do something nice for her friend. She even went through the trouble of baking some lovely tea cakes. Hearing the doorbell, Liv went to the front door and opened it. “Hello, Katherine! It’s wonderful to see you,” Liv said with a smile before giving her a hug.

Visiting Kat at The Mad Batter was something Olivia enjoyed doing several times a week. She would typically come by after the school day concluded and would grade papers while keeping her friend company. Since Liv arrived in Crownsville a couple years ago, the woman had become like an older sister to her since she grew up with all brothers. Liv’s heart broke for Kat, so she always tried to come by whenever she had the time. However, since her leg was broken in a storm a couple months ago, she hadn’t been able to visit as often as she usually did. Now that she didn’t need to use her crutches, she could get around much better, but still walked with a limp that was getting a lot better than it was a few weeks ago. Coming into the kitchen of Mad Batter, a smile spread across the tiny blonde’s features as she saw Kat. “Hello, you! What are you making today?”

During the school year, Olivia didn’t have much free time, but when she did she liked to catch up with some of her friends. She invited Katherine to have lunch with her because she hadn’t seen her in a while, and she wondered how she was doing. Once she arrived at Three Peaches Bistro, she went and spoke to Malcolm for a while before going to her table to wait for Katherine. As she saw the woman walk in, Liv waved at her. “Katherine! Hello! I’m so glad you were free to join me for lunch today!”
