hi it's me again. katia DOES have assassin training imo but more naturally took to Table politics given that she was raised primarily by her father who was the head of the Ruska Roma for a time and - again all in my mind - she wasn't all that keen on being trained in ballet the way a lot of the other girls were so argued for and subsequently got the familial privilege of hopping between "traditional" training of female members of the Ruska Roma and also negotiation, politics and whatever the traditional male self-defense/assassin training is (I actually don't know if it's made clear in the film if there's a counterpart to the ballerinas. obviously there are male ballet dancers In General but idk if that's ever brought up in the JW movies). anyway all that to say both Katia and Akira take after their fathers which I find interesting and while I don't think Akira in this elaborate headcanon enjoys being temporarily conscripted to work as an extension of another High Table family there is something comforting about being able to be Part Of Something and devoted her time to it even if in the name of revenge. I think she also just wishes it was something less foreign (both literally and figuratively) to her role assisting her father in Japan
