A (Not So) Sophisticated Evening || Bradley and Katie
Bradley wasn't really thinking much about what he was texting Katie, he just wanted to see her, and if he had to bribe her with absolutely extortionate minibar drinks, then so be it. Luckily, he had gone out earlier to buy some beers, which would do for later in the evening. He sighed, thinking about how nice it would be to have a drink with her again. Shit! It wasn't exactly a big resort, and Katie said she was coming over straight away! He wasn't even close to looking ready, having barely got out of bed, save to buy the drinks earlier. He sprinted into the bathroom, splashed water on his face and hurriedly brushed his teeth. Cursing, he stumbled into the bedroom, knocking into the doorway in his rush. Great, I look like a moron and I buggered my shoulder. There was no time to sort it out though, Katie would be there any minute! He rummaged through his wardrobe and picked it a clean pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt. Was that footsteps outside? He swore, ran into the kitchen, vaulting the sofa and nearly faceplanting on the wooden floor in the process. He just managed to get two clean glasses and the biggest bottle of champagne in the fridge, opened the door so it was ajar, then leant on the sofa just how he told her he had been for the last fifteen minutes.
