I take compliments poorly.

My co-workers always tell me I smell nice, and I'm just like "Oh um thanks? I can't really take the credit Katy Perry designed the scent"

I hear people tell me my hair looks nice and I can't say anything besides "Eh it's really faded and looks bad"

Sometimes if I don't have the time to put on make up and some one tells me my face looks nice "Don't lie, stop looking, I've forgotten my 50 layers of make up"

In short if I reject your compliment, it's not because I'm an asshole, it's because I literally don't know how to accept it.
