some of us are completely fine. not broken at all. we just get used to the pain...and heartbreak...and no, wait. maybe it's safer to avoid them. ;) (ps: i'm still working on my mikorin week story. it's half done, but i intend on finishing it.)

Dear Katja, Sorry for the late reply! I was overseas and Tumblr mobile doesn’t allow me to reply like this... but I’m back now and I’m so glad to hear from you! Ah, heartbreak. If we stayed away from fandom, we would spare ourselves a lot... but we hopelessly, masochistic lot. XD At least there’s good company, eh? OTOH, I do think it’s good not to get into new anime fandoms before visiting Japan; it’s much kinder on the wallet...

I’m happy you intend to finish your contribution for MikoRin week! I’m looking forward to reading it, when you get it to a quality that you’re willing to share with. I’m still writing other fics and for Heartbreaker (why did I give my story this title), and I too intend to finish! *ties on ‘FIGHT’ bandana* (If you need help with brainstorming, encouragement, etc, just ask.) XD

He does love it when she calls him Uncle Zaeed! :p She actually adopted his name for some time after she joined, but Zaeed didn’t want to confuse the new recruits (they thought she was his daughter) so she returned to Shepard. But after his supposed death, she got his name tattooed beneath the Blue Suns tattoo on her left wrist.

I’ve never really explained it before, actually. It is short for Charlotte, yes, but she was actually given the nickname from Zaeed when she was sixteen. After batarian slavers came to Mindoir and killed her family, she was saved from being taken into slavery by Zaeed (who was still a Blue Sun merc at the time).

He didn’t like the name Charlotte, thought it wasn’t fitting for a future merc (which he told Charley she’d be once he was done with her) and gave her the name Charley. She liked it (and loved her Uncle Zaeed) so much that it stuck even after she left the Blue Suns and joined the Alliance.

31. Do they finish each other’s sentences? Pick up any phrases or habits from each other? Know when the other is hiding something?

I wouldn’t say that they finish each other’s sentences, but they’ve definitely learned a lot about each other’s habits and have started to mimic small things. One example would be how Charley now thinks about how she goes to react to a situation when before, she would go with her first instincts. Kasumi made her realize that first instincts aren’t always the best.

Charley is adept at figuring out if someone is lying to her. Kasumi is a thief for a living so she’s good at hiding things. Charley finds Kasumi to be a challenge.

39. Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first?  When did they realize they were in love?

The relationship was first initiated by Charley. It took her quite a while to figure out that she even had feelings for Kasumi to begin with. She had been with Thane for some time and after his death, she didn’t think she would ever find someone again. She and Kasumi were close friends and one day, Charley realized she wanted more.

She went slow at first, not sure if Kasumi would want to move on from Keiji. However, when Charley approached her about it, Kasumi admitted she cared for Shepard the same way and the two decided to start a relationship. Kasumi was the first to kiss Charley, much to the latter’s happy surprise.
